The wait for the “Man Without Fear” is almost over. Marvel Studios has officially released the first teaser trailer for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, confirming a March 24, 2026, premiere on Disney+.

The new footage confirms a darker, more ensemble-driven direction for the series, with Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) leading an underground resistance against the tyrannical rule of Mayor Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio).

    The Resistance Begins

Showrunner Dario Scardapane, speaking with Entertainment Weekly, revealed that Season 2 will expand far beyond Hell’s Kitchen. With Fisk declaring martial law in New York City, the battle for the city’s soul has become a “veritable battlefield.”

“What happens in New York affects everyone,” Scardapane noted, hinting that the “Hell’s Kitchen side of the MCU” will finally see the return of familiar faces from the original Netflix era. The most significant reveal is the return of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, who is seen in the trailer using her super-strength to aid an injured Murdock.

The “Foggy” Mystery and New Villains

One of the trailer’s biggest shocks is a brief appearance by Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson. Given the character’s tragic fate in the Season 1 premiere, fans are already speculating whether his return is a flashback, a dream sequence, or a miraculous survival.

The season also introduces Matthew Lillard as the mysterious and influential “Mr. Charles,” a new antagonist described as being in the same “power class” as Kingpin himself.

    A Star-Studded Return to Phase 6

Now officially part of Phase 6 of the MCU, Born Again Season 2 brings back the elite creative team of Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (Loki, Moon Knight) as lead directors. The massive ensemble cast includes:

    • Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle / The Punisher
    • Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page
    • Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter / Bullseye
    • Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk
    • Lili Taylor as the Governor of New York

With a new black suit for Matt Murdock and the return of iconic “Defenders” characters, Daredevil: Born Again is shaping up to be the most ambitious chapter of the street-level MCU. Mark your calendars for March 24—the rebellion starts then.
